Welcome to So Zetta Games or SZG for short. My name is Eduardo J. Román Campos; you may know me as Arts, Eddy, or Zetta. I’m the founder, and I am excited to share my passion project with all of you.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Installation and Repair of Computer Systems and Networks, as well as a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership, while also working as an IT Client Technology Support Technician at an educational institution.
However, my true passion lies in tabletop gaming. I have been collecting board games since 2009 and love sharing that excitement with others. Alongside the So Zetta Games team, I actively provide board game demonstrations and run Dungeons & Dragons one-shot campaigns at various events, including Puerto Rico Comic Con, Super Otaku Con, Mega Geek Con, The Dungeon Experience, and The Gamer Spot. When I have the chance to travel, PAX Unplugged remains one of my absolute favorite conventions to attend.
Beyond board games and video games, I am also an avid collector and player of Trading Card Games (TCGs). I have been playing Pokémon since I was a little kid, and from 2015 to 2017, I even had the opportunity to join the Pokémon Professor Program as a Level 1, where I primarily assisted in running “Learn to Play” events at my local game store. These days, I am more focused on the collecting side of the hobby. I am currently working on a Master Set of my favorite Pokémon, Greninja, and I’m starting a new Master Set themed around the entire Sprigatito line to build alongside my son, Jace.
Another TCG that holds a special place in my heart is Magic: The Gathering. I first discovered the game back in 1999, though since I was young and barely knew English at the time, I just played with made-up rules! It wasn’t until the Mirrodin set released in 2003 that I truly got hooked, thanks to the game’s accompanying novels. I played through that entire block and have been playing ever since. Currently, I enjoy playing the Commander format casually. While I own quite a few decks, my absolute favorites to pilot at the table are Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch and Jace, Vryn’s Prodigy.
I’ve also been streaming on Twitch since 2022. While my initial intent was to showcase board game content—which comes with its own unique coordination challenges—I’ve built a great community around variety gaming, playing titles like Valorant, Elden Ring, and Fire Emblem. My streaming hours have gone down recently since I am busy with my doctoral degree, but I do my best to be live every Friday! I am committed to growing my channel and sharing my love for gaming with all my followers.
My primary goal is to create a community that shares the same love for gaming as I do. I want to provide content that is informative, entertaining, and engaging.
