We Survived The Dungeon Experience! 🐉🎲
Phew… we made it! Once again, the So Zetta Games team survived the epic three-day marathon that was The Dungeon Experience! Brought to life by Puerto Rico Comic Con and Cultura Secuencial this past weekend, it was an absolute blast showcasing the board games we know and love.

For those of you who might be new to our community, The Dungeon Experience is an amazing dedicated space at PRCC. A select team of content creators gets to set up shop and host free board game demos for convention-goers. You just walk in, grab a seat, and we teach you how to play!
We also want to give a huge shoutout to our fellow creators. It was fantastic teaming up with the Cardboard Cave Podcast again, and an absolute honor to meet and work alongside Planeta Meeple for the first time!

Rolling Heavy: D&D and Heroscape
While we had a little bit of everything available, our main focus for the weekend was moving Heroscape and Dungeons & Dragons.
Let’s talk D&D first! A huge welcome and congratulations to Steven Rivera Santiago and Angel Torres Bizaldi, who completely crushed their very first event with So Zetta Games! They handled the D&D demos all weekend, offering a variety of one-shots ranging from Level 1 beginner adventures to Level 5 campaigns for players wanting a bit more power.
Their tables were packed almost non-stop! They barely had time to breathe, but they handled the chaos perfectly, running some incredibly thrilling scenarios. In one game, a seemingly simple journey took a dark twist when an enchanted forest led the party to an isolated cabin. A little girl and her grandmother begged for help hunting a Blink Dog—but surprise! They were actually disguised hags looking to make the players their next course. In another high-stakes adventure, mortals and fey gathered for an initiation ceremony that was abruptly crashed by a jealous relative out to usurp control of the territory.
Meanwhile, I was holding down the fort with some epic Heroscape demo sessions. I went all out and built a massive four-biome stage! The map featured lava terrain simulating a volcano, water and land tiles for small islands, a dense forest, and a snow tundra. It is definitely one of the most complex maps I have put together so far.

We saw some truly legendary battles and wild dice rolling on that board. To keep things balanced and get people right into the action, guests could choose from one of four pre-built 300-point teams, each tailored to a specific biome.
Into the World of Warhammer 40K
We also had the pleasure of hosting special guests John Diaz and Ariana Rivera from our So Zetta Games team, and they did an absolutely stellar job running the Warhammer 40,000 demos!
They kept the action fast and accessible with quick 15-minute sessions, teaching guests the basics of moving, charging, attacking, reading the value cards, and—of course—rolling a ridiculous amount of dice! On top of the hands-on demos, John and Ariana ran a few exhibition matches that were open for the whole room to watch.
To top it all off, John brought along a massive display of his beautifully painted figure collection. So many people stopped by just to marvel at the incredible detail and the sheer size of his army. It was a huge hit!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, rolled some dice, and shared some laughs with us. We can’t wait to see you at the next one!
